THREATWIRE

Partners

Sponsor the wire

ThreatWire sells a small number of labeled placements. A company is named, the dates are fixed, and the creative is accepted before it appears. There is no checkout on this page.

How a partnership works

  1. 01 Write with the placement, the dates, and a short description of the company. If a partnerships address is published below, that is the inbox. Otherwise the request waits until that address is set in the editor.
  2. 02 ThreatWire accepts or declines. Acceptance covers the wording, the logo, the destination URL, and the dates. A placement is not a story, and it is not written as one.
  3. 03 An invoice is sent for the agreed window. Payment is by bank transfer against that invoice. The placement goes live only after the transfer is received and the sponsor is marked active.

Placements

Each placement holds one sponsor at a time. If two are active for the same place, the later start date is the one shown. When the end date passes, the placement disappears. Nothing is left as an empty box.

Homepage

Under the lead record, before the exploit radar.

One named placement for a company that wants to be seen by people arriving at the wire.

Article and CVE

After the record, below the share bar, on news, threats, and CVE pages.

A placement next to a finished record. It does not sit inside the reporting.

Research

After a research article, in the same position as the article placement.

A separate slot so a research sponsor is not mixed with news inventory.

What appears on the page

A sponsor card shows the label “ThreatWire Partner”, the company name, a short description, and a link. The link is marked sponsored. A logo is optional. The card sits outside the article, so the reporting and the placement stay separate.

What is declined

  • Scare copy, fake alerts, or anything that imitates a system warning.
  • Undisclosed posts. A sponsor is never published as a news, threat, or research record.
  • Creative that claims an exploit, a product result, or a customer outcome ThreatWire has not checked.
  • Autoplay, popups, sticky bars, and units that cover the record.

Advertising

A direct sponsor is preferred. An ad network can fill a placement only when no sponsor is live, the site-wide advertising switch is on, and both a publisher id and a slot id are set. The switch is off at launch, so no third-party ad script is loaded. Rates are quoted per placement and date range. There is no public rate card until the wire has a measured audience.

Request a placement

The partnerships address is not published yet. It is added from the editor, and this page shows it as soon as it is set. Until then, placements are not open.
